Panel: COVID-19: Lessons Learned for Latin American Education Systems

Mª Victoria Angulo, Minister of National Education in Colombia; Montserrat Creamer, Minister of Education in Ecuador, and Martín Benavides, Minister of Education in Peru, explain the education measures taken during the pandemic in their respective countries. The Ministers also reflect on the lessons learned throughout the Covid-19 crisis, emphasising the need to fight against social and digital inequality gaps, a greater socio-emotional focus, the creation of digital structures and tools for the education of the future, and the constant evaluation and monitoring of students to combat and prevent school dropout.
