The enlightED Awards are back again this year, continuing their commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship by rewarding the world’s best initiatives in education. Also, in 2021 the awards carry on growing and now include prizes for best practices in educational innovation, in addition to the categories of best start-ups in education, innovation and edTech.

The enlightED Awards 2021  will therefore now include the following categories:

1. Newly created companies, start-ups and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
2. Corporate training, lifelong learning, upskills and formal and informal continuing training.
3. Universities, Vocational Training and higher education institutions.
4. Primary, Secondary and Post-compulsory Secondary Education schools and projects.
   

As to the prizes, in the Entrepreneurship category for start-ups 10 finalists will be chosen whose award will consist of a package to be used at South Summit 2021. Also, one of these finalists will be selected as the winner of a full grant for one of the High Impact Online Programs run by IE University, valued at €1,950.

In the Educational Innovation categories there will be three awards in each category: a first Prize of €2,000 together with a full grant for one of the High Impact Online Programs run by IE University, valued at €1,950, a second prize of €1,500, and a third prize of €3,000.

The enlightED Awards 2021 are now open for submission of entries. Entries can be submitted for the Entrepreneurship category until August 22 and for the Educational Innovation categories until September 15.
