Reinventing Education in a Digital World.

In its 4th edition, the enlightED Awards continues growing and strengthen its commitment to educational innovation and entrepreneurship, establishing itself as one of the most important educational innovation awards in the world. The awards give participants the opportunity to share the most groundbreaking digital education and innovation projects with the rest of the education community as a response to the situation caused by Covid19.

New for this year’s edition, the categories of best education, innovation and edTech startups will include awards for best practices in educational innovation in corporate training, higher education and primary and secondary education. This year, over 700 applications have been received from more than 15 different countries.

The jury has already pre-selected 12 projects in each of the four existing categories: ‘Newly created companies, start-ups and entrepreneurship ecosystems’; ‘Corporate training, lifelong learning, upskills and formal and informal continuing training’; ‘Universities, Vocational Training and higher education institutions’; and ‘Primary, Secondary and Post-compulsory Secondary Education schools and projects’.

All the applications received have been examined by an evaluation committee made up of professionals with experience in the fields and themes of each of the four categories. From all of the entries, 3 winners per category will be chosen based on their creative edge, systematisation, contextualisation, replicability and social impact through technology, and the winners will be announced on 21 October, during the last day of the 2021 enlightED Hybrid Edition.
